Monthly Space Fee

Monthly Vendor Fee:

  • Your monthly vendor fee will be automatically deducted from your previous month's sales on the last day of the month.
  • If your sales do not cover the full amount of the next month's vendor fee, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance at the beginning of the month. You can also pay in person with cash or credit card, checks are not accepted.
  • Please be advised that a 3% convenience fee will be charged for payments made by credit or debit card toward your space fee.
  • If the invoice is not paid by the end of business on the 3rd of the month, a 25% late fee will be applied.
  • If you owe a vendor fee, no payout will be issued until the balance is paid in full.

Failure To Pay Your Vendor Space Fee:

Unpaid Vendor Space Fees and Termination for Non-Payment

Vendor space fees are due on the 1st of each month and must be paid in full by the close of business on the 3rd of the month. A late fee equal to 25% of the outstanding space fee will be assessed on any unpaid balance after the close of business on the 3rd.

If all outstanding space fees and late fees are not paid in full by 11:59 PM on the 14th of the month, the Vendor Agreement will automatically terminate on the 15th of the month at 10:00 am. Upon termination, all sales activity will cease immediately, the vendor space will be closed, and the vendor will no longer be permitted to conduct business at Calvada Marketplace.

Upon termination, any prepaid last month's space fee on file will be applied toward the vendor's outstanding balance. Any sales proceeds being held by Calvada Marketplace will then be applied to any remaining unpaid fees, late fees, charges, or other amounts owed under the Vendor Agreement.

If the sales proceeds exceed the total amount owed, the remaining balance will be paid to the vendor. If the total amount owed exceeds the available sales proceeds, the vendor remains responsible for paying the remaining balance.

The vendor must remove all merchandise, fixtures, displays, shelving, walls, and other personal property from the premises within the timeframe specified by Calvada Marketplace. Property not removed by the stated deadline may be considered abandoned and may be disposed of, sold, retained, or otherwise handled by Calvada Marketplace at its sole discretion, subject to applicable law.

Calvada Marketplace reserves the right to assess reasonable removal, handling, storage, and disposal fees for property left on the premises after termination. Any such fees will be added to the vendor's outstanding balance.

No payment plans will be offered for delinquent accounts unless approved in writing by Calvada Marketplace management.

Calvada Marketplace may, at its sole discretion, grant extensions, payment accommodations, or exceptions to these deadlines and requirements. Any accommodation, extension, or exception granted to a vendor shall not constitute a waiver of these policies, shall not modify the Vendor Agreement, and shall not create a precedent or entitlement for any future accommodations, extensions, or exceptions.

  • Early Move-Out and Non-Payment: If you move out before the 3rd, to avoid payment, and have not paid the outstanding balance, legal action may be pursued, which could negatively affect your credit score.
  • Transferring Spaces: Transferring to a new space does not absolve you of any outstanding vendor fees or late fees that were previously incurred.
